The GIR Symposium is a student-led initiative endorsed by the Department of Government and International Relations at the University of Sydney.

Held from the 17th of July – 20th of July, The 2023 GIR Symposium will bring together the next generation of leaders in politics and international affairs for an intensive 4-day experience; comprising online workshops and masterclasses, lecture series, career mentoring opportunities, networking and social events.

With it's hybrid format allowing for attendees both in Sydney and abroad, the GIR Symposium will be distinctly future-focused, empowering attendees to become the positive change-makers of the future.
